A 100% natural versatile bedding made from the fibrous husk of the coconut, all species of amphibians, reptiles and invertebrates that require a humid environment will thrive on this safe and sustainable substrate.

Once removed from the coconut the fibrous husk is screened and then prepared for use by grinding to the appropriate size.

This slightly acidic substrate contains high antibacterial properties and has a high percentage of lignin which will resist rotting, even under wet conditions.
