Saltwater Hokkai 5 Hook

Ireland’s western coastline is an area of exceptional beauty. The diverse nature of the coastline provides the perfect habitat for a wide range of marine species. the warning influence of the north Atlantic drifts encourage fish of the southern climes to migrate along the coast in summer including a large number of mackerel, Garfish, Pollack and Seabass. They are usually shoal fish that swim inshore when chasing bait fish. when a feeding frenzy starts the singles will start to dive into the water to catch the try that has been scared to surface by the school scavenging predators. when fishing into deep water from rocks or a pier the fish can be any depth. Even hard on the bottom attach the ig to the main line and use a suitable casting weight or a metal jig attached to the end of the rig and cast out. The rig can be allowed to sink for a predetermined time and then retrieved using a sink and draw action. often the fish will hit the lures as they sink not the pull. From a boat the rig should be lowered to the sea bed and then jigged up and down by lifting and lowering the rod so giving the lures more movement. Do this at varying depths until the fish are located.
